AN ORIGAMIC FLOWER LIKE PAPER CRAFT WHICH CONTAINED SIX CLUES ABOUT AUTHOR KHALIL GIBRAN. AN ACTIVITY BASED ON IT WAS CONDUCTED.

I AM SATISFIED THAT I COULD COMMUNICATE WELL. STUDENTS RESPONDED WELL AND HAD GOOD UNDERSTANDING ABOUT LESSON.


SCIENCE FAIR  (1511.2017-17.11.2017)


Sasthramela, the Thiruvananthapuram revenue district science fair began on Wednesday At St Mary's ,Pattom. Around 800 students from lower primary to higher secondary are participating in the event organised by the Education Department. They hail from 12 education sub-districts in the region.  

The show has been arranged in different categories namely science fair, social science fair, work experience fair, Maths fair and IT fair.  Museum and Archaeology Minister Kadannappally  Ramachandran inaugurated the event on Wednesday.  Innovative exhibits at the show include a design for fuel production from human waste and a ‘wearable nano kidney’. Different types of waste management systems, some claiming zero pollution in processing, are other attractions.

Eight hundred students are participating in the social science fair while 775 are attending the Maths Fair. Students from 80 schools in Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram districts are participating in the Vocational Expo which began on Thursday.  
The vocational expo is different from other shows since selected displays have been put up for sale. “Exhibits are products of the production-cum-training centre of the Vocational Higher Secondary Schools. The event boost the innovative technological skills of the students,” said Rasheed M A, publicity convener of the event.
